Refund policy

Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return under the following conditions:

  • The product is damaged, defective, or incorrect at the time of delivery.

  • The product is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging (for categories that allow returns).

  • A return request is submitted within the allowed time frame (see Section 2).

Non-returnable items include:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., fresh groceries, food items)

  • Personal care items, cosmetics, hygiene products

  • Innerwear, socks, and intimate apparel

  • Items marked “Non-returnable” on the product page

  • Downloadable or digital products


 Return Window

Return requests must be made within:

  • 48 hours for perishable or fragile items

  • 7 days for electronics, fashion, home items, and general products

  • 3 days for beauty, personal care, and sealed goods

Return Process

To start a return:

  1. Log in to your VanamCart account.

  2. Go to My Orders → Select the product → Choose Return / Replace.

  3. Upload a clear photo/video showing the defect or issue (if applicable).

  4. Submit your request.

Our team will review the request and schedule a pickup if eligible.


Replacement Policy

A replacement is offered if:

  • The same product is in stock

  • The product is delivered damaged or defective

  • The wrong item was shipped

If a replacement is not available, a refund will be issued.


 Refund Policy

Refunds will be processed after the returned product has been inspected and approved.

Refund Method:

  • Online Payments: Refunded to the original payment source (3–7 business days).

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Refunded as store credit or bank transfer (3–7 business days).

  • Wallet Payments: Refunded back to VanamCart Wallet (instant or within 24 hours).

You will be notified via email/SMS once the refund is processed.


Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped.

  • If the order is already shipped, you may request a return after delivery (based on eligibility).

  • Prepaid orders will be refunded fully upon cancellation.


Conditions for Rejected Returns

Your return request may be rejected if:

  • The product is used, damaged, or altered by the customer

  • The original packaging, tags, or accessories are missing

  • The pickup attempt fails repeatedly

  • The return window has expired
